Shimla & Manali Package
Here is an Overview of an itinerary of Shimla and Manali brought to you by Travel Line.
DAY 01: DELHI TO SHIMLA
Upon your arrival in Delhi you will be transferred by road to Shimla (8 hrs) - the former summer capital of India under British rule. Shimla is famous for its archeological buildings, wooden crafts and apples. Upon arrival you may check into your Hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at your own leisure, shopping at the Mall or spending time doing other activities of your choice. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Shimla
After having an early breakfast at the Hotel, you will depart for a Full Day excursion to Kufri and Chail. Kufri, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters is the highest point in the surrounding region and Chail, which is famous for its Palace. In the evening, you will return to your Hotel for another overnight stay.
Day 03: Shimla to Manali
After having an early breakfast at the hotel, drive down to Manali by road (8 hrs), a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 meters. Arrive & check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarvings, Manu Temple, Vashist Temple (Sulphur Springs). Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 04: Manali
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Hotel. Take a Full Day Excursion to Manikaran, a pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sikhs (85 kms). Go back to your Hotel by evening to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
Day 05:Manali
Have breakfast at the Hotel before visiting the famous Rohtang Pass, 60 km from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (subject to weather conditions). Enroute visit Solang Valley. In the evening head back to your Hotel for some rest and a relaxing night’s sleep.
Day 06:Manali to Chandigarh
After having an early breakfast at the Hotel you will be driven down to Chandigarh, the beautiful capital of Punjab and Haryana, located on the edge of the Shivalik Hills, the outermost edge of the Himalayas. Upon arrival check-in to the Hotel. The evening is free for leisure activities of your choice. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Chandigarh to Delhi
Enjoy an early breakfast at the Hotel before driving back down to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to the Airport/Station for your return journey home full of wonderful memories from your trip.
